New AC/DC album
exclusively sold at Wal-Mart
AC/DC's next album will be exclusively sold at Wal-Mart stores in the US. The
as-yet-untitled album is expected to be out in the fall. AC/DC follows in the
footsteps of Garth Brooks, the Eagles and Journey to sign an exclusive deal with
the retail store. Meanwhile, AC/DC is also one of few major acts yet to make its
music available via iTunes Music Store.
Primal Scream album titled Beautiful Future
Primal Scream's new album will be titled “Beautiful Future” and was produced by
Björn Yttling and Paul Epworth. First single “Can't Go Back” will be released on
July 14. The album features guest appearances by Lovefoxx of CSS, Josh Homme
from Queens Of the Stone Age and Linda Thompson. The new effort is said to be a
mix of Philly soul, dark electro, rock¹n¹roll and pop.
New Starsailor album to feature Rolling Stone Ron Wood
Starsailor's upcoming 4th album is tentatively titled "All The Plans" and marks
the return of producer Steve Osborne. The new effort also features an appearance
by Rolling Stones’ guitarist Ron Wood on the song "All The Plans We Made."
Starsailor recorded the album the UK. The album has been finished since May and
the band is waiting to decide on a release date.
Chante Moore to make comeback on June 17
Chante Moore is getting ready to make her comeback on June 17 with her new album
“Love The Woman”. Her last album which was released two years more or less
flopped on the charts. Moore’s new effort was produced by Raphael Saadiq, Warryn
Campbell and George Duke.
New Busta Rhymes album to feature host of famous guests
Busta Rhymes recently enlisted Linkin Park to guest on his new single "We Made
It," which was produced by Cool & Dre and Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda. The track
will appear on Rhymes' upcoming new album "Blessed," which is due later this
summer. Along with Linkin Park, "Blessed" finds Rhymes collaborating with T-Pain,
Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Akon, T.I., Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Common,
J. Holiday and the Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger, among others.
New Edition’s Ralph Tresvant working on new solo album
Ralph Tresvant, founding member of New Edition, is recording a new solo album.
The as-yet-untitled album, which is planned to be out later this year, features
lead single “It Must Be You.” The single will be out July 1 on various digital
download sites. Tresvant’s last album was “RizzWaFaire” (2006) en his biggest
solo hit was 1990’s US number one “Sensitivity.” |
